This is a family friendly town of about 1,000 proud Canadians. The town enjoys the sidewalks that are found throughout the town. The town acts as a hub for the quiet communities that surround Cornwall that lies just to the east.
One of the most distinguishing features of Long Sault is the Long Sault Parkway, a 10 km highway that winds through about 20 islands. The Parkway and Long Sault's location make it the center of South Stormont County. Along Long Sault Parkway are beaches, camping, hiking, fishing, and boating. It acts as the center for outdoor activity in the region.
One of the favorite activities along the Parkway is cycling. With incredible views and some fantastic towns and villages, it’s the ideal place to cycle whether you’re a professional cyclist or a family out for a slow and easy ride.

The whole town comes together for Canada fireworks that are famous for being some of the best around.
One of the most important features of Long Sault is Longue Sault Public School. It is one of the best schools in the region and leads the children of the town to success in their lives.
Long Sault is also a very popular city for retirees with affordable homes and several retirement homes. Long Sault is a perfect place for every stage of life.
